Research Corporation Speaking fees depend upon several variables, including the length of the presentation, the type of presentation (keynote, state-of-the-art-assessment, or panel presentation), the time of year (weather delay – early arrival), and whether or not audio and/or video is recorded. Fees are also location-specific due to travel time requirements. Fees in and around the greater Washington D.C. area are shown by some Lecture Agents as the Speaker’s Home Area base fee. Travel days required outside the home area (nationally or internationally) cost more. Base speaking fee does not include business class airfare, accommodations, car rental, ground transportation, meals, special new customized graphic material creation, or audio visual requirements.
